The ant is walking

(null)

I brought Izzie out for a morning walk on CNY eve. She was just contented when she saw this and asked me to carry her up. While walking, she noticed an ant on the floor and told me, “The ant is walking!” It sounded funny to me because no one ever told me before that ants walk. 😀

Izzie @ Penang

CNY 2015 – This is the third time Izzie comes to Penang to celebrate CNY with ah ma and ah gong. Somehow it feels special…that she was at Penang at 6 months, 18 months and 30 months…@ the different milestones. Indeed, she is growing up very fast. It was just one year ago that she started walking stably and now she could speak so many words and sentences. She surprised me today by saying “tangled” in the right context.

Traveling on the plane with Izzie has always been a breeze. As the flight timing was her usual nap timing, she slept through the entire flight.

This is the first year that we have to pay child fare for Izzie after enjoying infant fare for 2 years.

On Wednesday

We sent Izzie back to school on Wednesday. The teacher called around 430pm to say that she is coughing badly. Sigh. She had been cranky at school (think coz she isn’t feeling too well).

She slept on the bus home. She was still cranky when we got home. She rejected the milk. Less than 10 mins later, she wanted the milk. Then she decided she wanted her dinner. After a few mouthfuls, she decided she was full.

The past few days she hasn’t been keen to go out. That night she decided to go out for a walk at night and shook a tree.

Haha how random! She is on the road to recovery!

Izzie didn’t want to go out for a walk the entire day. She was lethargic and slept a lot. After she woke up from her long nap at 4.30pm, even when I asked if she wanted to go to the playground (her favorite place), she firmly replied, “NO!” I persuaded her to go out with her pram. Only then she let me bring her out. After going around our block once, she requested to go to the playground, much to my delight!

I brought her to a playground we have never gone before. She went “wow!” when we reached the playground and off she went to play. That brought a lot of comfort to my heart.

(null)Izzie has been very lethargic these past two days and has been sleeping a lot. Her fever which lasted 2 days broke. PTL. I think she reached the peak of being sick yesterday. She would cough till she vomit so I had to feed her less than 50 ml of water/milk every 1-2 hours. It felt like she went back to the days of being a newborn. Thankfully, she could drink goat’s milk and eat biscuits by night time. Today, she only drank goat’s milk. She didn’t want her soup during lunch. Randomly, she asked for noodles only and banana during dinner and went off to sleep already. I hope she is on the road to recovery.
